NBA Predictions: Can the Warriors sweep the Jazz? 5/8/17

For Golden State, its Western Conference foe should be a toss-up between Houston and San Antonio.

The Golden State Warriors (GSW) have put on a stellar show in the NBA Playoffs so far, but the question is, can they become the first team to go 16-0?

As the only 2017 NBA Playoff matchup on the schedule, Game 4 will kick off at 9 p.m. ET.

The Warriors have committed 11.5 turnovers per 100 possessions this postseason, best in the National Basketball Association. In four games, the Trail Blazers could not produce on victory against the Warriors. Utah Jazz has been close to the winning score in the previous three Matches against Warriors but failed at the end.

Specter of bribery cases hangs over FIFA Council elections
Mahfuza Akhter of Bangladesh has beaten Australian rival Moya Dodd for a seat on the FIFA Council reserved for an Asian woman. FIFA Secretary General Fatima Samoura said the body was "delighted" to partner with "the world's fastest-growing airline".

The entire second round of the playoffs has been largely uncompetitive.

That was the play of the night - at least through one half - but Jazz guard Dante Exum also had some a respectable nomination. The Warriors may be hoping to complete their second consecutive sweep tonight as they play their fourth game against the Jazz.

Durant wasn't almost as productive as Game 4, when he popped 38 points, but his 18 points in this one were pretty timely.

Golden State's defense locked back in and its offense erupted again. However, just when you think the Jazz are back in the game (Games 1 and 2) or going to win the game (Game 3), the Warriors go on a run and take back control of the contest.

Rough road: Last-place Giants delayed by bus breakdown
There is no telling what level of dysfunction might rear itself when a three-game series between these two clubs begins on Monday. Not only did the Reds score in each of the first five innings Saturday, but they have scored in 13 of 16 innings in the series.

Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson vs. Gordon Hayward: Any chance the Jazz have of winning a game, much less getting back into the series, nearly certainly lies with their All-Star small forward.

While this type of behavior isn't especially surprising from Green, Warriors assistant coach Ron Adams feels Green should stay away from technicals, telling Murph and Mac on Monday that he can help spark the team in other ways. That's the luxury of having four All-Stars and the winners of the last three MVP awards on the same roster.

Durant finished Game 3 with 38 points on 15-of-26 shooting.

Kevin Durant had 18 points, six boards and five assists for the Warriors, while Klay Thompson chipped in 21 points.

Obama Warned Trump Not to Hire Flynn
He also advocated an overhaul of the DIA that ignited resistance from veteran intelligence officials, the officials said. Flynn lawyer Robert Kelner said Monday after the hearing's conclusion that he is declining comment on Yates' testimony.

Perhaps it will be Thompson's time to shine in Game 4. Shut down one component of Golden State's offense and another component instantly kicks into overdrive. They're too promising to risk their future.
