United Nations agency announces 2 more suspected Ebola cases in Congo

The deadly hemorrhagic fever was first detected in its dense tropical forests in 1976 and named after the nearby river Ebola.

At least one person has died from the Ebola virus in the Democratic Republic of Congo according to the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the country's Health Ministry.

According to World Health Organization, nine suspected cases - including three deaths - have been reported since April 22 in an area more than 800 miles north of the capital of Kinshasa.
