People fell from a height of nine meters.

Two women and a 7-year-old boy fell from a Ferris Wheel a the Port Townsend Rhododendron Festival on May 18 after witnesses say the cart flipped upside down.

A female in her 40s and a 7-year-old child were taken to a nearby hospital for injuries sustained in the fall. Officials said a 59-year-old woman is in serious but stable condition at Harborview Medical Center.

But officials have said that the festival will not be cancelled.
