Get a first peek of Amber Heard as Mera in upcoming 'Aquaman'

This shot is much more vibrant than anything we've seen of Mera so far, including her very brief appearance in the trailer for "Justice League" (below). Principal photography for the film has just begun in Australia. He will be accompanied by Mera, interpreted by Amber Heard, who represents his wife in comics. We'll first see the duo in Justice League on November 17th.

Queen Mera has finally come out of the sea. The Aquaman actress previously shared a picture of herself working out with a trainer of her own in an attempt to build strength for her Aquaman scenes.

The skintight, bright green outfit's look is taken straight from the comics and notably features Aquaman's "A" symbol located on her stomach. It hasn't been all work and no play for Amber, however.
