Chris Smalling's Man Utd Career Is All But Over

Benfica playmaker Anderson Talisca has claimed that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wants him at Old Trafford, and he indicated he would be open to the move.

United have been previously linked with a move for the 23-year-old, who has a €24m (£21m) release clause in his current contract with the Portuguese champions.

United completed the deal to sign Victor Lindelof from Benfica on Wednesday and the £31million deal has put pressure on Smalling. "It's up to Benfica, my representatives, who are dealing with the situation".
