Judge orders Cosby jury to keep deliberating

On Friday, the jury asked to review multiple pieces of evidence, including Cosby's 2006 deposition testimony about quaaludes, a now-banned party drug.

The jurors also listened to the definition of reasonable doubt, the threshold that prosecutors must cross to win a conviction, and reviewed testimony from Constand and her mother about phone conversations they had with Cosby after the encounter. Cosby is charged with drugging and molesting Constand at his home in 2004.

So far, jurors have asked seven questions during their deliberations. He also reminded the jury that they can deliberate for as long as they want. Her attorneys have said she viewed Cosby as a mentor when she worked as a staffer on the Temple University basketball team more than ten years ago.

The defense has said Cosby and Constand were lovers sharing a consensual moment of intimacy.

Or, it simply could be a sign that the jurors are meticulous, he said. But he says he'll let the jurors work as long as they want. A spokesman for the stand-up comedian and actor told reporters gathered outside the Montgomery County courthouse that the judge should declare a mistrial. "And that's created this doubt". The district attorney's office declined to comment. The judge told them to try again for a verdict. "If they don't have a verdict by now, we'd hope the judge would relieve them".

She says those arrested were booked at Ramsey County Jail on charges including being a pedestrian on the busy freeway. The Chicago Demands Justice for #PhilandoCastile rally was held Sunday afternoon at Washington Park in Chicago.

Constand alleges Cosby gave her pills that made her woozy before assaulting her. Dozens of women have come forward to say Cosby drugged and assaulted them, but this was the only case to result in criminal charges.

O'Neill sent them back to the jury room try to break the stalemate. "I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that you've done".

The 12-member jury informed the court that after almost 30 hours of deliberations, they had been unable to reach a unanimous decision.

Each jury deadlock announcement is met with a defense motion for a mistrial. However, this month's trial marked the first time Cosby faced criminal charges; the statute of limitations had expired in virtually all of the other cases.

The case has helped demolish Cosby's nice-guy image, cultivated during his eight-year run as Dr. Cliff Huxtable on the top-rated "The Cosby Show" in the 1980s and '90s.

India got their man finally thanks to a fine catch by Jadeja running back from point after a skewed big hit at Pandya. But Pakistan could also find a place for Amir by leaving out a spinner in either Shadab Khan or Imad Wasim.

The Associated Press does not typically identify people who say they are victims of sexual assault unless they grant permission, which Constand has done.

The judge rejected the call for mistrial, and instead ordered the 12-member jury to reconvene Friday and continue their deliberations until they can end the impasse and reach a decision. They looked more upbeat than previous nights, according to the Associated Press.

The sequestered jurors had deliberated about 30 hours before telling Judge Steven O'Neill earlier Thursday that they couldn't reach a unanimous decision on any of the counts against the 79-year-old comedian. Lawyer Brian McMonagle also anxious that some jurors might compromise "their views and their values" for the sake of reaching a unanimous decision.

They will get back to it Friday morning.

By Wednesday night, jurors asked the judge several questions seeking clarification and re-reading of excerpts of Cosby's own words about his 2004 encounter with accuser Andrea Constand at his nearby home. Each charge carries a possible 10-year sentence. Shortly after 9 pm, after 39 hours of deliberations over four days, he dismissed them for the evening and ordered them to return in the morning.
