NBA Draft 2017: Markelle Fultz excited to play with Sixers' Ben Simmons
After the Sixers traded for the top overall pick from the Boston Celtics, it spoke a lot on how impressed they are with Markelle Fultz.
Jimmy Butler has been linked to the Boston Celtics since the NBA's trade deadline this past season.
But, if that Lakers pick doesn't fall between No. 2 and No. 5 in the 2018 draft, Philly will instead send a 2019 first-round pick from Boston that it acquired from the Sacramento Kings. They have arguably the most talented frontcourt in the league and with the addition of Fultz, it is nearly for certain other veterans would not mind coming to Philly to play considering the amount of talent they will have. "Unbelievable. I'm just anxious to get to that day, know where I'm going, so I can fully invest into it".
After his workout with the Sixers on Saturday evening, Fultz said he doesn't "really pay attention to everything that's going on". According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Boston Celtics will be sending the pick to the Philadelphia 76ers. Boston got the first overall pick this year in the Paul Pierce-Kevin Garnett deal with the Brooklyn Nets, and while the package hasn't been revealed, it's hard to see it not include the 76ers' third overall choice. The 19-year-old worked out for Philadelphia on Saturday as the deal was in the works.

The Lakers possess the second pick in Thursday's draft and likely will be choosing between Ball, the former UCLA point guard, Kansas forward Josh Jackson and Kentucky point guard De'Aaron Fox.
Philadelphia could have a core group of Fultz, Simmons, and Joel Embiid, which could be a prominent trio for years.
"It was a dream I had since I was a young kid", Fultz said.
This could be the final stand for both teams in a deal involving Butler and the Celtics. That's probably what Jackson had in mind when he took aim at Fultz.
Aaron Judge hits the hardest home run of the Statcast Era
Kevin Gausman (3-4, 5.86 ERA) will take the hill in the series finale versus Masahiro Tanaka (5-6, 6.55 ERA) on Sunday. On June 10 and according to MLB Statcast, Judge hit a home run with an "exit speed" of 121.1 miles per hour .
Butler averaged 23.9 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game last season.
But management repeatedly has said the team's point guard of the future is 6-foot-10 Ben Simmons, who will be a rookie next season after missing last season because of a foot injury.
That pick symbolizes new hope for a franchise thanks to the selection of, possibly, a generational player that overshadows all other players in his draft class.
