Jared Kushner speaks publicly for first time since the election

The White House Office of American Innovation is hosting a series of working sessions to generate ideas to transform and modernize Government Services.

At a White House tech summit that lured Silicon Valley's most powerful and obsequious, Kushner made a rare public speaking appearance to mostly say some unobjectionable stuff about floppy disks, a topic surely in the front of every American's mind.

Kushner and one of Trump's national security advisers, Jason Greenblatt, will be in Jerusalem and Ramallah to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and, separately, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and their senior advisers.

Kushner appeared eager to promote change in government, saying that he was warned that the federal bureaucracy would resist his efforts.

Kushner has also come under scrutiny for his contacts with Russians during the transition as part of the widening probes into whether Trump's team coordinated with Moscow during the election.
