Taylor Swift is now available on all music streaming services

Coincidence or competition? Twitter is going wild after Taylor Swift released her entire back catalog of music on all streaming services on the exact same day that Katy Perry dropped her new album, Witness.

But music experts believe there is something more to Swift's return to these streaming platforms other than gratitude for fans.

Online personality Tyler Oakley preferred to find a way to neutralize the situation.

Swift allowed Apple to stream it after the music platform chose to pay artists royalties during its free three-month trial. Swift defended her decision, complaining that streaming services like Spotify didn't compensate artists fairly. The project spawned massive hits including "Shake It Off", "Bad Blood", "Style" and "Blank Space".

"No one has asked me about my side of the story, and there are three sides of every story: one, two and the truth", she said in the June issue of NME.

Apple quickly changed its policies and struck up an exclusive deal with Swift, getting access to her album 1989 as well as an exclusive on the film made about her tour.
