SpaceX set to launch Falcon 9 from California air base

The company has completed two back-to-back missions successfully.

Through a series of eight launches, SpaceX will deliver 75 Iridium NEXT satellites to low-Earth orbit, with 66 making up the operational constellation.

No matter what you did over the weekend, you'll struggle to top Elon Musk's after his space trucking venture launched 11 satellites atop two rockets, both of which stuck ideal landings on barges.

Holyrood committee to examine Scottish tower block fire safety
Officials are now conducting inspections of tower blocks across the country. You can't play Russian roulette with people's safety", Khan told Sky News.

Reusing rockets is a great way to bring down launch costs; previously, they were discarded after each launch, and building them from scratch costs millions of dollars. The satellites have joined a network known as Iridium Next system.

Iridium Next has many goals. The project will provide global real time surveillance for all types of flights. It has already launched more rockets in 2017 than any other year. It's the 12th time SpaceX has successfully landed one of these rocket stages out of 17 attempts, and the seventh time it's performed the feat at sea. The launch Sunday was SpaceX's second delivery; it sent up the first 10 satellites in January. SpaceX managed to show its professionalism and conducted both missions perfectly delivering contracted payload to designated orbits.

It is the only company that has "recovered, refurbished and then re-flown an orbital class rocket", writes News18.

Trump says US on brink of become net exporter of energy
The White House is launching its "energy week" with a series of events focused on jobs and boosting USA global influence. Energy Secretary Rick Perry may touch on similar themes when he speaks Tuesday with analysts and executives at the U.S.

Previously, rockets could only be used on one mission as their booster jets and hulls would burn up on re-entry into the atmosphere. A pneumatic valve pushed the BulgariaSat launch back from Monday, June 19. All navigation equipment and engines performed as expected.

SpaceX will try recovering the brand-new booster being used for today's liftoff as well: After stage separation, it's programmed to fly itself down to an autonomous drone ship that's floating in the Pacific Ocean, off the California coast. It will be launched later this year.

"Rocket is extra toasty and hit the deck hard, used nearly all of the emergency crush core, but otherwise good", Musk posted following the landing.
