Kentucky Fried Chicken has partnered up with Huawei in China to celebrate its 30th anniversary of operations in the country to launch a limited edition smartphone.

With KFC's signature bright red color, the KFC Huawei 7 Plus is a highly unexpected addition to the fried chicken franchise's product line.

There's also an app called K-Music, which according to the marketing material will allow you to pick songs you want to hear when you're in one of KFC's 4,000 restaurants throughout China. But now, the global food chain is going to introduce you to the most unbelievable object in its menu. Perhaps best of all though is a feature that, according to Telecoms, lets you, a la Uber, change the music that's playing over the speakers in any KFC in China.

To make the occasion grand and a bit more special KFC has joined hands with Chinese smartphone brand Huawei and unveiled a limited edition smartphone on 13th July in China. The device is available for CNY 1,099 at the Tmall store.

KFC's new Enjoy 7 Plus device doesn't exactly stand out from the crowd: It runs Android 7.0 and has a Snapdragon 425 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a microSD card slot.

There's even a fingerprint scanner on the back right above the laser engraved image of the Colonel's head.
