Emirates Airlines is famous for luxurious flights that feature Jennifer Aniston taking a shower aboard a flight, or famous YouTuber Casey Neistat enjoying his $21,000 first class seat aboard an Emirates plane, as reported by the Inquisitr.

The video, apparently taken in the business class cabin of an Emirates aircraft, was seemingly meant to showcase the luxury surroundings of Russian passenger Yevgeny Kayumov, who posted it to his Instagram, but the first few seconds inadvertently capture a member of the cabin crew decanting the ends of a glass into a bottle.

A flight attendant in Emirates Business Class has been caught pouring a glass of champagne back into the bottle. Kaymov wrote: "I accidentally filmed this video, and didn't even notice this moment at the time, pouring unfinished champagne back into the bottle".

There is a slight (like 0.1%) chance the flight attendants will take this with them, depending on the Emirates policy (which I'm 99% certain would prohibit this), but otherwise this bottle is being disposed of and no passengers are drinking this.

Kayumov also asked the airline: "Is that normal practice Emirates?"

Some described the idea of reusing champagne as "disgusting" on a Reddit thread of the video.

'Actions recorded on this video do not comply with our quality standards.

"We're not allowed to pour things out while we're on the ground".

A spokesperson told Telegraph Travel: "Emirates always strives to provide the top quality service".

But others suggested it was likely to be a convenient way of disposing of unused liquid.

With a champagne flute in one hand and champagne bottle in the other, the woman began to pour the contents of the glass down the neck of the bottle.

"She is nearly certainly pouring the leftovers back into one container and then will go to the lavatory and pour it all down the sink at once".

'I could be wrong but realistically that's probably what's going on. being a flight attendant is all about efficiency and consolidating haha'. "We are now investigating the incident". have contacted Emirates for a further comment.
