Latimer acknowledged the incident in a statement made to KUSA-TV in Denver but denied the dispute was over the club's dress code as TMZ reported.

According to TMZ who obtained video footage, Latimer slapped the bouncer outside the club prompting the bouncer to pepper spray the Broncos wide receiver.

"I've talked to Coach Joseph and the Broncos, have been very upfront and explained everything", Latimer said Sunday.

Tina gushed about the cute twins, saying that they are all excited to have them in their lives and see them grow up. Mom Tina Knowles Lawson kicked off the family praise, reposting the photo on Instagram.

Latimer noted that the incident took place in February and that the police were not called to intervene after the incident, which the wideout says started with words between his uncle and the bouncer. After one bouncer repeatedly swatted Latimer's arm off his shoulder, however, Latimer can be seen slapping him in the face.

Latimer's uncle then lunged at the bouncer, who knocked the uncle to the ground.

It's unclear when the Broncos found out about the incident, but they informed the National Football League, which told The Denver Post that it is aware of the matter but declined to comment.

ESPN will televise OJ Simpson's parole hearing live on Thursday
He is now in prison serving a maximum 33-year sentence after being convicted of kidnapping and armed robbery charges back in 2008. If there is a tie, Simpson's parole will be denied for six month and a new hearing would be scheduled.

"It's unfortunate that something from six months ago that didn't result in anything all of (a) sudden becomes a big story".

"It was initially a disagreement between (uncle and bouncer) and I was trying to break it up.", Latimer said, per Mike Klis of 9News. I didn't want trouble so we got out.

Latimer told TMZ he was trying to deescalate the situation.
