Trump's six-month approval rating hits historic low

The number is lower than for any previous United States president in polls dating back 70 years.

Trump tweeted: "With all of its phony unnamed sources & highly slanted & even fraudulent reporting, #Fake News is DISTORTING DEMOCRACY in our country".

Trump also charged that the Washington Post-ABC News poll released before the election "was just about the most inaccurate poll".

The poll puts Mr Trump's approval rating 23 percentage points lower than both former presidents Barack Obama and George W Bush at this time in their presidency.

North Korea threatens UN
Beijing was quick to pour cold water on the suggestion that the overall rise in trade suggested it was not complying with U.N. Security Council resolutions created to punish Pyongyang for its nuclear tests and missile launches.

An ABC News-Washington Post poll shows most Americans disapprove of President Donald J. Trump's use of Twitter.

The latest survey found that 23 percent of national adults believed Trump was doing a better job than his predecessors while 50 percent said he was faring worse.

The poll was conducted after reports in The New York Times disclosed that Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., and officials from his father's presidential campaign met past year with a Russian lawyer and others who claimed to have incriminating information about Trump's Democratic challenger, Hillary Clinton.

The 40 percent rating by those who agree with Trump on issues is among the lowest given to presidents since the survey began.

NY to sue federal government if GOP votes to overturn ObamaCare
Governor Andrew Cuomo is leading the charge against the proposed Republican repeal of Obamacare. Both say the bills place unconstitutional conditions on federal dollars used for healthcare.

The poll's other results also demonstrate a new wave of economic optimism under President Trump. Among Trump's core support groups, 48 percent of white evangelical Protestants and 55 percent of non-college-educated white men polled said they disapproved of his behavior.

The poll also offers a look at the perception of the Democratic party.

Thirty-six percent of Americans polled said they approved of Trump's performance. Sixty-Seven percent believe that the Trump campaign actively collaborated with those efforts.

Not bad isn't a scientific term, but by any sober measure Trump is performing relatively worse compared to his contemporaries, as well as any president since World War II. Fifty-five percent of respondents said he was making no significant progress towards his policy goals.

Lonzo Ball admits he's trying to start bidding war between shoe companies
Both LaVar and Lonzo Ball said that wearing different shoe brands reflects the independence Lonzo has to switch things up. For now, Lakers fans can hope that him switching hands mid-air for a reverse layup is a staple of the teenager's future.

Indeed, Trump was unlikely to take news of the poll well, as his approval rating in the survey is unusually low, with only Gerald Ford's six-month rating in 1975 coming close, when he saw a 39% approval rating at a similar stage in his tenure, ABC News reported.
