UAE minister denies any hacking of Qatar

The Washington Post on Sunday released a report citing USA intelligence officials that said the UAE orchestrated the hacking in late May that sparked ongoing turmoil between Qatar and its regional neighbors.

Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt all cut off diplomatic and transport ties with Qatar on June 5, accusing it of financing militant groups and allying with their regional adversary Iran - allegations Qatar denies.

USA intelligence officials confirmed that senior members of the UAE government discussed the hack on May 23, just one day before the news site and its social media accounts were hacked.

Wimbledon champion: Roger Federer or Marin Cilic?
I'm going, OK, I know he's not going to serve and volley - which is great for me. "It's just actually fighting it through". Federer's willingness to come to net is in contrast to numerous younger up-and-coming players.

Yousef al-Otaiba, the UAE ambassador to the United States, called the Post article "false" in a statement.

The hack, which took place the following day, preceded the current split in the Gulf between Qatar and a coalition of four states that are mounting an economic and diplomatic boycott against it.

"We need a regional solution and global monitoring", Anwar Gargash, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, said.

The photomontage of Melania Trump that hurts Brigitte Macron
"Trump was in Paris this week, he met the French president's wife Brigitte Macron and he said: "You're in such good shape, such good physical shape".

"We need to be certain that Qatar, a state with $300bn in reserves, is no longer an official or unofficial sponsor of jihadist and terrorist causes", the minister said in a statement delivered Monday in London.

US intelligence agencies told the Washington Post that they had previously suspected one of the four countries who initially cut ties (Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, and Bahrain) was involved in the hack.

"What is true is Qatar's behavior", Gargash insisted, claiming that Qatar was inciting violence across the Middle East. Gulf states on June 5, 2017 cut diplomatic ties with neighbouring Qatar and kicked it out of a military coalition, less than a month after the U.S. president visited the region to cement ties with powerhouse Saudi Arabia. Doha denies the accusations. Funding, supporting, and enabling extremists from the Taliban to Hamas and Qadafi. The Saudis and Emiratis were interested in settling scores with Qatar, they interpreted Trump's embrace in Riyadh a couple days earlier as a green light for them to do what they liked, and they just needed to fabricate a reason to launch their punitive campaign. The US Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) declined to comment, according to the newspaper.

Richmond says there is damage in the area, particularly on some rural properties near Abel Lake Road and Lilypad Lake Road. The cold front slid southward on Saturday, moving past Williams Lake and 100 Mile House Saturday night.

The four-nation bloc issued a list of 13 demands on Qatar, including closing broadcast giant Al Jazeera, downgrading ties with Shi'ite-majority Iran and shutting a Turkish military base in the emirate.
