The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on Saturday declared the Intermediate or Class 12th arts, science, commerce and vocational compartmental examination results 2017.Out of 1,30, 741 candidates who appeared in the examination, 93,295 passed, which is a pass percentage of 71.36%. Candidates shown up for the examinations in July month can check their result, grade, and marks from the BSEB Official portal, Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) had conducted 12th class compartment examinations conducted during July 3 to July 13, 2017. The details of BSEB 12th compartment result 2017 have now been uploaded at BSEB website: for the students who appeared for the Bihar board compartment exams.

Out of 93,295 candidates, 6,517 passed with a first class, 73,977 with second and 12, 801 with third division. Over all pass percentage has been recorded at 71.36 per cent. Unlike other state boards, BSEB doesn't declare the result on its official website. Not more than 11 candidates were expelled during the examination for using unfair means, and all of them were from arts stream.Interestingly, girl candidates outshone boys again.

The CBSE circular had also listed similar cultural activities which could be organized by all affiliated schools on August 15. A cultural program on national unity and sports events will follow then and the program will end with sweet distribution.

This year the total number of girls applied for exams were less than the boys. Among the qualifying students, 48,878 girls passed against 44,417 boys. Out of the total, 72.75% students of Arts, 69.02% of Commerce and 50% of Science streams students cleared the exam, as per the reports by News18.

Another special exam was for those students who could not fill up the registration form for main BSEB intermediate exam.
