Let's face it, Fortnite now has all of these players looking at the title specifically because it is no longer Fortnite, it's Fortnite Battle Royale.

On Tuesday, Fortnite publisher Epic Games filed civil complaints against two alleged associates of the website Addicted Cheats who apparently used the site's aimbotting services to kill Twitch streamers live on camera.

Two of the biggest Fortnite Battle Royale cheaters have been caught by Epic Games, and are now facing lawsuits.

Epic also highlights the fact that the cheater's are actively breaking the games EULA - "The software the Defendant uses to cheat infringes Epic's copyrights in the game and breaches the terms of agreements to which Defendant agreed in order to have access to the game". Last Sunday saw an all-time record of 525,000 concurrent players on their team-based shooter Fortnite, whilst today brings the news that 10 million players are hitting the game's recently released Battle Royale standalone mode. One defendant had been banned from playing Fortnite nine times. The press release also noted that the developers of PUBG have no association to the development of "Fortnite". According to the complaint, when asked why he stream-snipes, the defendant said, "Because its [sic] fun to rage and see streamers cry about how loaded they are and then get them stomped anyways". Over Discord chat, both defendants declined to comment.
