'Garbage': Michael Jordan hits out at worrying National Basketball Association trend

Michael Jordan isn't so thrilled with the superteam era.

In an interview with Cigar Aficionado magazine, Jordan, who led the Chicago Bulls to six National Basketball Association titles in the 1990s, criticised teams that had stockpiled talent to try to dethrone the reigning champion Golden State Warriors.

"I think it's going to hurt the overall aspect of the league from a competitive standpoint", Jordan told Cigar Aficionado magazine.

Jason Momoa Apologizes 'With A Heavy Heart' For 'Tasteless' 2011 Rape Joke
That now includes actor Jason Momoa , made famous by his role as the burly Dothraki lord Khal Drogo on Game of Thrones . Jason Momoa joked that he loved pretending to " rape handsome women" when he play Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones .

"You're never going to say who's the greatest of all time", Jordan said. "Or they're going to have a tough time surviving in the business environment", Jordan told Cigar Aficionado magazine in an interview. "To me, I think that's more for PR and more for selling stories and getting hype".

As for Jordan's comments about 28 teams being garbage this season, it's unclear which two teams he believes will be great.

From Chris Paul joining James Harden in Houston to the Oklahoma City Thunder adding Paul George and Carmelo Anthony to team up with reigning NBA MVP Russell Westbrook, the league is entering an era of super teams. I think when you can see the similarities and you understand, this is one way you can judge the tow-how much impact did each change or evolve the game? Kawhi Leonard was the 15th pick in the draft; Isaiah Thomas was the 60th pick in the draft; Draymond Green was the 35th pick in the draft.

Astronomers found a ring around a dwarf planet beyond Neptune
The term "dwarf planet" probably brings to mind bodies like Pluto - ideal spheres that only just miss out on true planethood. We know the dwarf planet itself reflects about half the sunlight that shines on it, and that it doesn't have an atmosphere.

Some have cited Kevin Durant's decision to sign with Golden State as a free agent in 2016 as a move that worsened the NBA's competitive balance.

"There's no way, with hindsight, I would've ever called up Larry [Bird], called up Magic [Johnson] and said, 'Hey, look, let's get together and play on one team, '" Jordan said in 2010 (via ESPN).

But Golden State still has to win four more championships to equal what Jordan's teams did in the 1990s. Does that make Bill Russell better than me or make me better than him? "Am I the reason that Brooklyn gave all their picks to Boston?" One more team. I couldn't have made the (entire) East better.
