We've known for a while that Apple is working intently on self-driving vehicle technology, but we now have our closest ever look at what the company has dubbed Project Titan.

Apple's self-driving cars have a new array of sensors, according to video tweeted by Voyage cofounder MacCallister Higgins on Tuesday.

It'd mean that Apple's self-driving technology could be adapted for a variety of vehicles and Project Titan could potentially be offered as an add-on for auto brands that haven't had the resources to develop their own built-in autonomous systems.

Demi Lovato admits it is a constant "challenge" to stay sober
But it didn't stop Demi and she ended up being placed on psychiatric hold after she downed half a bottle of pills. Adding a hopeful note for her 61.5 million followers, the 25-year-old captioned the post: "Recovery is possible".

Higgins called it "The Thing" and pleaded for more than 140 characters to go over his findings (via Engadget). The auto we see in the video features six LIDARs produced by Velodyne.

Is Apple's vision for autonomous cars the way most drivers will get involved?

The Verge also suggests that the computing stack is in the roof sensor array, rather than in a computer mounted somewhere in the vehicle body. Those systems are typically stored in the trunks of other self-driving prototypes.

Key West Ham man hasn't developed in six year, controversial pundit says
Meanwhile, Brighton boss Chris Hughton believes under-fire West Ham manager Slaven Bilic deserves more time to turn things around. The forward Sam Baldock (calf) and Biram Kayal (calf bone) are also sidelined, and there is no exact timetable for their return.

An Apple representative declined to provide a comment when we reached out to ask if the SUVs that were spotted are actually the company's test vehicles. That would also make it easy to switch test cars theoretically in future, and it could have an impact product-wise in terms of gearing towards modularity in design so that this can be adapted to many purposes and vehicles as an aftermarket add-on.

The new setup looks to be much different than what that we saw back in April. The project is being developed and could become a reality soon.

UPDATE: Oct. 18, 2017, 3:29 p.m. EDT This story was updated after Apple's spokesperson declined to comment about the image and video of the auto.
