Duke has pulled in the most highly touted recruiting class in the country the past two years, according to 247Sports, and the addition of Barrett puts them on track for a threepeat. He was originally ranked No. 1 overall in the 2019 class. He scored 38 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in a semifinal victory against a USA team that featured current Kentucky players Hamidou Diallo and P.J. Washington, top-15 2018 recruits in Reddish, Romeo Langford and Immanuel Quickley and Georgia Tech's second-team preseason All-ACC guard Josh Okogie. He's electric in transition, he rebounds well for a guard and has the size, wingspan and athleticism to one day become an elite perimeter defender.
