4th person shot dead in Tampa neighborhood

A man shot and killed early Tuesday just blocks from where three others were killed within days of each other could be the latest in a string of slayings police believe have been done by a serial killer.

This comes just weeks after three people were shot and killed over a 10-day span in Seminole Heights.

After the earlier shootings, police increased patrols in the neighborhood and released surveillance videos of a hooded suspect.

Officers arrived on-scene within seconds and found an adult male, later identified as Ronald Felton, 60, deceased in the street.

I'm pretty sure everyone was expecting Meghan Markle to be leaving after this season, but Patrick leaving is a complete surprise! Meghan Markle is exiting her series, " Suits ", after the US show's seventh season, along with co-star Patrick J.

Officers say Mr Felton was crossing the street to meet someone when a gunman came up behind him and shot him.

Until they can rule it out, police said they're investigating Tuesday's shooting death as one connected with the neighborhood's previous killings.

"We will hunt this person down until we find them", Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn said during a press conference Tuesday morning.

People living in Seminole Heights have been on edge after the murders of three people. He was armed with a large black pistol and was last seen wearing all black clothing.

Nearby residents are asked to remain in their homes, and bus service has been suspended in the area.

Police said the body was found shortly before 5 a.m. near North Nebraska Avenue and East McBerry Street.

Officers have saturated the area, and are going door-to-door looking for witnesses as well. Some bus routes to Hillsborough High School and other schools in the area may be disrupted by the Tampa Police investigation. "We hope to catch him before he gets outside the area". If it is missing, it should be reported immediately.

The earlier murders began on October 9, when Benjamin Mitchell, 22, was shot while waiting for a bus. Tampa police have received hundreds of tips, but have fallen short on solid leads.
