Platt says his passenger appeared intoxicated and when he tried making small talk, she became hostile.

When he stopped and ordered her from the auto, she refused to leave until a police unit called by Platt arrived. The transcript indicates that Warner called Platt an "idiot" and "stupid".

Despite what may or may not have happened Friday night, Warner was sacked from her job by Dallas County District Attorney Faith Johnson on Monday afternoon.

It's important to note that a deal is not yet done, and both Nintendo and Universal have declined to comment. Mario and Luigi have appeared on the big screen before, in a 1994 live-action film starring Bob Hoskins.

"Although criminal charges have not been filed, her behaviour is contrary to this office's core principle of integrity, and it will not be tolerated", Johnson said in a written statement. "I encourage you, the public, to look beyond this incident and recognize that our prosecutors work hard each day to seek justice on your behalf", Johnson said.

Platt said Warner began yelling at friends out the window after he picked Warner up at Capitol Pub, the Dallas Morning News reports.

"It's not kidnapping. Ma'am you are free to leave", Platt responds.

Warner was tearful Tuesday, and said, "I'm very sorry for the language I used". Instead, the Dallas prosecutor declines, claiming that the driver was "recklessly keeping" her from where she was going. He says, "I'm waiting for the cops". "I cringe whenever I hear or think about the things that I said that night", Warner told ABC News.

"You're committing a third- to first-degree felony, so do you want to take me home?" she says. Platt added that she told him, "Who are they going to believe?"

"She kept saying she was an assistant DA, said who are they going to believe, you or me?' I said, 'You know what?"

"I just want an apology". Thus, he called 911 and hit record, according to the Dallas newspaper.

Cpl. DeMarquis Black, a spokesman for the Dallas Police Department, said the agency has contacted the district attorney's office and is investigating the incident.

"There's two sides to every event", Schulte tweeted.

She says she felt uncomfortable with the route the driver was taking and went into "fight or flight" mode, saying her years of prosecuting sexual assault cases may have put her on edge or more sensitive than most. People endorsed her for skills including litigation, legal research, and courts. Warner's Facebook page has been deleted. I mean no harm to her. However, others on Twitter were extremely unkind to Warner after listening to the audio and came to the defense of Platt, the driver, who is pictured above.
