Rose McGowan was released from custody Tuesday after turning herself in for a drug possession charge.

Actress Rose McGowan, one of the leading and most vocal accusers claiming sexual assault by Harvey Weinstein, was booked on a drug charge in Loudoun County Tuesday.

The warrant was obtained on February 1, 2017, after a police investigation of McGowan's personal belongings "tested positive for narcotics and were left behind on a flight arriving at Washington Dulles International Airport" on January 20, the Airports Authority Police Department told us.

Kraig Troxell, a spokesman for the sheriff's office, said: "She turned herself into the Loudoun County Adult Detention Centre which is in the same jurisdiction as the Dulles International Airport, who obtained the warrant".

After cops snapped her mug shot, Rose was released on a $5,000 bond.

Police say the items tested positive for narcotics.

She tweeted last month that she was raped by a man with the initials "HW". McGowan said that back in 1997 she reached a $100,000 settlement with the Hollywood executive for "an episode in a hotel room during the Sundance Film Festival".
