Bungie has announced that the Destiny 2 downtime will start from 7 AM PST and it will be down for 3 hours, and during this period Bungie will roll out Curse of Osiris DLC and the Season 2 changes. When the servers return at 10 AM Pacific, the Curse of Osiris expansion will be available to play, along with all of the new changes that Bungie outlined last week.

Curse of Osiris will introduce a wealth of new content to Destiny 2. Once Curse of Osiris has launched, it probably won't be long before we hear more about that second expansion, so keep it tuned here for more.

Straight from Bungie themselves in late November, there was a livestream which showed off "The Up and Up" quest from the new Curse of Osiris expansion.

We know that the Curse of Osiris expansion is launching on Tuesday, December 5, but what time will it launch in your region of the world? And of course, you'll be able to just run around and explore the smallest planet in the Solar System. Curse of Osiris is likely to come with a large update, and it's best that you get that installed before you get home and want to play.

The trailer drums up the hype and highlights what players can expect from the DLC, such as a new story, new Strikes, new gear, and a new activity called a Raid Lair.

Curse of Osiris also includes powerful new weapons and armour to unlock, as well as the all-new Raid Lair, Eater of Worlds. We don't know anything about the second expansion at the moment, aside from the fact that it'll be out sometime in spring 2018.
