Firefighters in Los Angeles are battling a raging wildfire near the Getty Center that has prompted officials to order evacuations near Mulholland Drive in Bel-Air and the closure of part of the northbound 405 freeway.

The blaze broke out at 3:42 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Gold Creek and Little Tujunga roads, the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported.

Shortly before 7 a.m., the California Highway Patrol closed the entire 405 Freeway between the Ventura (101) Freeway and the Santa Monica (10) Freeway, along with on-ramps and off-ramps and freeway transition roads in the affected area.
