Since one month Delhiites are suffering from the bad air quality.

"Where is your action plan? What are your normal steps to check pollution", the bench said. "You can not subject people to this".

The National Green Tribunal on Monday pulled up the Delhi government for its "lackadaisical" approach over rising pollution levels in the city, a day after bad air quality plaguing the capital for several weeks interrupted play during the ongoing Test match between India and Sri Lanka at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium here.

It is not certain as to whether Saints' cornerback Marshon Lattimore will be playing in Thursday's game due to an ankle injury. The Atlanta Falcons now find themselves in the mix of teams in the NFC competing for one of the two wild card spots.

The tribunal had on November 28 asked the AAP government and four neighbouring states- Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan to submit an action plan on tackling pollution.

The play, however, continued uninterrupted on Monday even as indicators showed pollution levels rising to "hazardous" levels.

The concentration of the most dominant pollutants, PM2.5 and PM10, reached levels as high as 276 and 455 micrograms per cubic metre (ug/m3) by 3 pm, according to the Central Control Room for Air Quality Management of the CPCB.

Pollution is considered severe plus or emergency when the readings are above 300 and 500 respectively.

Metcalfe has repeatedly spoken out against homosexuality. "You could have knocked me over with a feather", Bradford told HuffPost. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette mockingly reported the story with the headline, " Daryl Metcalfe comes out as heterosexual ".

The Air Quality Index (AQI), as recorded by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), also reflected the rise in the levels of these ultrafine air-borne particulates, which manage to lodge deep in the lungs and even enter the bloodstream. However, it is menacingly close to the "severe" category.

The natural factors compounded the pollution which has other sources such as thermal power plant emissions, vehicular exhaust fumes and construction dust, which ensure poor air quality across the Indo-Gangetic belt throughout winter.

An AQI between 0-50 is considered Good, 51-100 Satisfactory, 101-200 Moderate, 201-300 Poor, 301-400 Very Poor, and 401-500 Severe. Earlier, the government claims that the Delhi Pollution level increased due to the reason for burning crops.

The Centre had set December 7 as the deadline for old thermal power plants commissioned before January 1, 2017, to meet stricter emission norms with regard to particulate matter, nitrogen oxides (NOx) and sulphur oxides (SOx).
