Call Of Duty WW2's Winter Siege Event Trailer And Details Unveiled

Winter Siege is coming this Friday, Dec. 8 for all platforms, and it'll come with a new winter-themed version of the Carentan multiplayer map.

Call of Duty: WWII was originally released on November 3, 2017, and is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.

Posting on the official website earlier today, Sledgehammer Games announced that the first seasonal event of the new installment is all about celebrating with the passionate community. The winter-themed Supply Drops will further allow players to access various cosmetic upgrades, emblems, and more.

A couple weeks ago we learned that Call of Duty: WWII would be getting its first event community event based around the holiday season, but, at the time, we didn't have much information about it.

The event also brings a new look for Headquarters.

Winter Siege begins on Friday December 8th at 6pm in the United Kingdom, and continues through to January 2nd, 2018. Winter Siege will deliver a ton of new activities and content to the game, including a new multiplayer map, the return of the Gun Game party mode, and new Supply Drops. These orders will offer players a new way to get a guaranteed new weapon variant. The event also winterizes Headquarters, with the beach encampment taking on a seasonally appropriate appearance for the span of the event, and welcoming an all-new Quartermaster, Captain Butcher. Additional variants can be gained through Collection Bounties, or in Winter Siege Supply Drops. Players will also receive a free Winter Siege Supply Drop for logging in to play each week of the Winter Siege event.
