Taylor Swift speaks on Denver stopover

A radio DJ fired after Taylor Swift accused him of groping has sent the symbolic $1 he was ordered to pay her in damages. Almost four months after this verdict, Mueller has finally paid that $1, a Sacajawea coin that he mailed to the singer on November 28, he told the Associated Press in a letter. The former radio DJ admitted that he purposefully picked the coin - which features a Native American woman - as a final jab at Swift. When Swift was included as one of the Silence Breakers in Time magazine's Person of the Year issue on Wednesday (Dec. 6) she said Mueller had yet to make good on that settlement.

During her interview alongside the Time piece, Swift claimed that she hadn't received the $1 that she requested from David Mueller after a Denver federal court ruled in her favour. Mueller, who has denied the claims, filed a $3 million lawsuit against the singer in September 2015, claiming she cost him his job and future career opportunities.
