Plano-based Cinemark announced Movie Club, a movie membership program that for $8.99 per month provides members a free ticket to a 2-D movie, the ability to reserve seats with no fees and a discount on concessions in the theater. How you (and the public at large) perceive the value of this sort movie subscription relies on your cinemagoing philosophy and what you want out of a "subscription".

Cinemark is one of the biggest movie chains in the country with almost 350 theaters. Unused credits roll over and never expire when you're a member.
