
All victims identified in bus-train collision in France
The driver of the train, which was carrying 30 passengers, and bus were not seriously injured.
At least four children were killed and seven people were seriously injured on Thursday after a train crashed into a school bus at a level crossing in southern France, police sources said.
Philippe joined Transport Minister Elisabeth Borne and Education Minister Jean-Michel Blanquer who had already arrived at the scene. She said the train normally travels at 80 kph (50 mph) at that location.
She said that the crossing is "well-equipped" with flashing lights and the latest technology.

The cause of the accident was not identified yet.

Photos from the scene tweeted by a local television station showed the train derailed and the bus torn in half - with first responders gathered around.
"Several witnesses confirmed that the barrier had come down so it worked", the spokeswoman said, adding that the investigation would have to clarify what had happened.

The dead and critically injured were all travelling in the bus.
The Pyrenees-Orientales authority said the train crash occurred in the afternoon in a small town near the Spanish border.
President Emmanuel Macron in a tweet wrote: "All my thoughts for the victims of this bad accident involving a school bus, as well as their families".
Emergency services have been deployed to the site of the accident.
