Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Will Release on Switch in May

Nintendo's Wii U was host to some damned good games - but the system was a bit of a failure. Alternatively, the Tropical Freeze port could be Nintendo's way of giving Switch owners a Donkey Kong Country game so Retro can work on something else entirely. Funky Kong can double jump, hover, perform infinite rolls and even perform infinite underwater corkscrews.

While the game will largely remain the same, it will feature a new mode starring Funky Kong. In the game's additional co-op challenges, players team up with a friend in local multiplayer, where they'll play three levels of difficulty, taking on adversaries as a team.

First, Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition will come to Switch in Spring 2018 includes all characters, maps, missions, and DLC from both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game.
