Jigar and Kripesh Sanghvi, owners of the pub 1 Above who are accused in the Kamala Mills fire case, were arrested in Mumbai today.The brothers have been in hiding since the case was lodged. Kripesh and Jigar Sanghvi were arrested from Bandra, a day after the authorities arrested their close friend Vishal Kariya, who reportedly gave leads to the police.

"The arrested owners of the 1 Above have no role in section 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of the Indian Penal Code", argued Advocate Kiran Jain, defence counsel on Thursday.

Now the investigating teams is in search of Yug Tulli, owner of Mojo's Bistro pub, who is also on the run.

Once it was established that Kariya was in touch with the owners of 1Above, the police started grilling him about the whereabouts of the accused, said Virendra Mishra, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 3). The brothers and partners of 1 Above will be taken to court on 12 January.
