Starz Announces John Wick TV Series The Continental

Chris Collins (Sons of Anarchy, The Wire, and The Man in the High Castle) will write the series and serve as showrunner.

The logline for the series reveals that we'll also be discovering a new branch of the Continental in the television series, this time in Los Angeles (the films introduced us to the New York City Continental, as well as seemingly more ancient satellite in Rome during John Wick: Chapter 2).

"The show and movies exist side by side", Albrecht said. The Continental series will be set in the John Wick universe, focusing on the inner workings of the exclusive Continental Hotel which serves as a refuge for assassins.

Storm anticipated to deliver heavy rain and snow to Northern California
Despite some areas not seeing much snow, all areas will see a major drop in temperatures and the consequent freezing on roads. Gusty winds are possible in wind prone areas producing localized blowing and drifting snow and reduced visibility.

"The Continental", from writer and executive producer Chris Collins, includes Reeves as an executive producer, Starz execs said at the Television Critics Association press tour on Friday.

Albrecht said: "This series is truly unlike anything else on TV".

This announcement obviously would extend the Wick universe, but the main question fans are curious to know is what's going to be Keanu Reeves' role?

India Reactivates $525 Million Missile Deal With Israel Ahead of Netanyahu Visit
Netanyahu will be in India on a six-day visit from January 14, during which he will hold comprehensive talks with Modi. Swaraj made an announcement at her first press conference in 2015 about the PM-level visit to Israel from India.

It's a flawless fit for Starz which, among its original programming line up, offers hits like Outlander and Black Sails and the upcoming spy series Counterpoint. Stahelski meanwhile will continue his directorial appointments at the Continental's undoubtedly austere lobby by directing The Continental pilot after previously directing John Wick: Chapter 2 and co-directing the first John Wick with Leitch (Leitch went on afterward to direct Atomic Blonde and Deadpool 2).

No premiere date has been announced, and it's unclear where the series will pick up in relation to the timelines of the two films. I think the world is very vast, and everything I've heard from it is very positive. Every person in there looks as if they've got an exciting story to tell, and it seems like the ideal setting with which to explore the often surreal John Wick universe.
