The England Test captain will be among 282 worldwide players who have signed up for the IPL auction.

Apart from overseas talent, Indian stars like Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir, R Ashwin and Ajinkya Rahane are likely to fetch some good amount of money.

Stokes has been cleared by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to play in the competition where previous year he earned a record £1.7m at Rising Pune Supergiant. Also, from Bangladesh, there are 8 players while 13 and 7 is the number from Afghanistan and Zimbabwe.
