Beating out more than 140,000 other entries in Gerber's 2018 Spokesbaby contest was Lucas Warren, USA Today reported.

Lucas' father, Jason Warren, said he hopes this will bring more acceptance for people with conditions such as Down syndrome. Inspired by the adorable baby photos received from proud parents, Gerber launched its first official Photo Search in 2010 and has continued celebrating babies and toddlers every year since, not only through Photo Search but through its real, delicious and nutritious food for babies and expert tools and services for parents.

The winning photo, posted on Instagram, is of a broadly smiling Lucas in a smart polka dot bowtie and mint-colored polo. Lucas will also appear on the company's social media channels and in advertisements throughout the year.
