YouTube suspends ads on Logan Paul's channels

YouTube has suspended controversial YouTube vlogger Logan Paul soon after he tasered deceased rats in a video posted to his channel.

Paul, who has around 15 million subscribers on YouTube, was heavily criticized earlier this year, after posting a video which showed him discovering the video of a suicide victim - and laughing as he stood by the body.

Logan Paul is no stranger to doing stupid AF things, getting criticized for them, and then apologizing and moving forward like nothing happened.

YouTube announced in a statement on Friday that it would temporarily be suspending adverts on Logan's YouTube channels, meaning he will no longer be able to monetise his account, which now has over 16.5 million followers.

He hit nine fours in his nearly chanceless knock, facing 94 balls as his teammates struggled in the middle. Silva combined with captain Dinesh Chandimal , 30, for 51 runs to extend their dominance.

"After careful consideration, we have chose to temporarily suspend ads on Logan Paul's YouTube channels", a YouTube spokesperson said in a statement provided to BuzzFeed News.

Reps for Paul did not immediately respond to a request for comment. YouTube took the video down, suspended his YouTube Red paid projects, and removed him as a "preferred ad partner".

Paul will not profit from advertising on any of his videos for the time being. He is represented by CAA and affiliated with Studio71.

KitGuru Says: While I can applaud YouTube for finally stepping in to set an example so that its bigger YouTubers don't abuse their power and influence, I have to criticise that the platform is still playing favourites and showing a lot of leniency. After a three-week self-imposed hiatus, Paul returned with a lavishly made video on suicide awareness, claiming he wanted to be part of the "solution".

A total of 75 per cent of American voters said their financial situation was "excellent" or "good", said the poll. This Quinnipiac University poll was conducted February 2-5, 2018, among 1,333 registered voters.

"This is not a decision we made lightly", YouTube said in a statement Friday.

This is a bigger effect for Paul than YouTube's first punishment, which simply removed Paul from Google Preferred, the company's top-tier ad group for creators.

PETA Senior Vice President, Lisa Lange, said: "How many chances does Logan Paul get?"
