World War 2 bomb recovered from Thames, London City Airport shut

The airport authorities have urged all passengers to avoid travelling to the facility, through a Twitter post.

London City Airport was shut down Sunday after a World War 2-era bomb was found nearby in the Thames River.

All flights out of the airport have been cancelled today after cops were forced to put a 214-metre exclusion zone in place following the discovery.
