Meek Mill's legal team is once again making an attempt to have the rapper freed from prison by filing a Post-Conviction Relief Act petition. TMZ reports that Mill has filed legal documents asking for his conviction on a 2007 drug possession charge be overturned, arguing that Philadelphia police officer Reginald Graham lied in court. Gibson says Meek merely took a gun out of his waistband to discard it, according to the docs. A member of the same police team as Graham, Jerold Gibson, claims that he was present during the 2007 arrest and that Graham is not being factual about Meek pointing a gun at anybody. Graham retired in 2017 after 22 years and over 400 arrests - his name was reportedly put on the list four months after he left the force. If charges aren't withdrawn or dismissed voluntarily, Mill's attorneys are seeking a new trial.
