HMD Global, the Finnish company behind Nokia's comeback into the mobile game, has launched a new variant of the Nokia 6 in India with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage for Rs 16,999. The 3GB RAM variant was launched at a price of Rs. 14,999. The new variant will go on sale from Tuesday, February 20 and interested buyers can now go to the Nokia 6 (4GB) page on Flipkart to add themselves under "Notify me" list. As a part of the launch offer, users will get extra Rs 2000 off on exchange for the device.

Notably, this is a new variant of last year's smartphone and should not be confused with the Nokia 6 (2018), which comes with a Snapdragon 630 SoC, and was launched by the Finnish company in January this year. The device features a full HD display screen of 5.5-inch and a resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal memory, expandable to 128GB.

In terms of the optics, the new variant features the same 16MP rear camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 1.0-micron pixel sensor and a dual-tone LED flash, and the 8MP autofocus selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and 84-degree wide-angle lens. It is fueled by a non-removable 3000 mAh battery which may last for a day or two easily depending on the usage. It also features a front-mounted fingerprint scanner under the display and dual audio speaks with Dolby Atmos audio. The Nokia 6 ships with Android Nougat, but the brand has already rolled out Android 8.0 Oreo update for the smartphone. For connectivity, the smartphone supports options like dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, AGPS, NFC and micro USB port.
