"I think if we were printing in plastic we would encounter some issues", explains co-founder of ICON, Jason Ballard.

Icon, in partnership with San Francisco housing charity New Story, has developed a large-scale Vulcan printer, capable of printing an entire 800 square foot house in between 12 and 24 hours.

While Icon and New Story are by no means the first to 3D print a building, the group claims their homes are the first to meet government standards for living in. At SXSW, the organization flaunted a 3D-printed house which includes a parlor, room, washroom, and bended patio.

Els & Woods headed to Melbourne as Presidents Cup captains
The Presidents Cup is a biennial contest that has been played since 1994, with Team USA winning ten of the previous 12 contents. Off the course, Els is the player Woods sought out in the 1996 British Open when he was trying to decide whether to turn pro.

A prototype house has been built in Austin, Texas, and the team plans to build a 100-home community in El Salvador.

According to New Story, the construction process produces no waste and the homes themselves are able to withstand harsh climates and other constraints such as limited water, power and labour. The company also plans to build homes in the USA eventually. However, by working alongside ICON, they now have access to the impressive Vulcan 3D printer.

To build the house, ICON developed a mobile 3D printer called the Vulcan, which is created to operate in conditions where power isn't reliable and potable water isn't readily available - like rural El Salvador or Haiti.

Jimmy Graham Reportedly to Sign with Packers After 3 Seasons with Seahawks
Swoopes played two snaps in Seattle's regular season finale against the Cardinals, but otherwise has not seen much playing time. In Seattle, Graham struggled to make the same impact as he dealt with injuries and was no longer a focal point of the offense.

ICON has built the first permitted 3D printed home in America.

New Story explains on its website that previous year, the technology they needed to create homes quickly and cheaply wasn't available yet. But they are printed in a warehouse, or they look like Yoda huts. Icon will also use the proof-of-concept house as its own office to get a better feel for how it performs. As a part of this effort, ICON has developed cutting-edge materials tested to the most recognized standards of safety, comfort and resiliency and is created to function with almost zero waste production methods and work under unpredictable constraints (limited water, power, and labor infrastructure) to tackle housing shortages.

Even though the machinery used in 3D-printing is quite costly, however, the materials can be low-priced. You're not going to open a two by four and open screws.

CRPF jawans killed in mine blast in Sukma Naxal attack
All the personnel were killed due to the impact of the blast even as many were thrown out of the vehicle, officials told PTI. Meanwhile, two injured CRPF personnel were airlifted to state capital Raipur and admitted to a private hospital.

In the meantime, if you'd like to join the effort to eliminate homelessness on Planet Earth, you can donate to the cause on the New Story website.
