Q2 Weather: Rain and snow return

The best chance at a few snowflakes will be across Southern Tennessee and Northeast Alabama, where we could pick up a dusting of snow by Monday morning.

Tonight, rain ending, cold & windy. Those pesky breezes NW 7-17 miles per hour will gust 20-25 miles per hour at times making our highs in the low and mid 30s feel like teens and 20s most of the day. Highs will be in the lower 40s today, but the winds will make it feel quite a bit chillier. Winter weather advisories are in effect for those areas through late this morning, as snow will linger the longest points north and east. Our average high for mid-March should be climbing into the upper 40s, and we'll remain below that mark through Saturday.

Then, cold nights with near or below freezing temperatures settle in for much of the week.
