The bust in Santee Alley netted makeup similar to such popular brands as Urban Decay, NARS, MAC, Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner, and others. Detective Rick Ishitani of the LAPD told the news station that the cosmetics' price reveals whether it is counterfeit or not. Subsequent tests found bacteria and animal feces, the station reported.
