Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium debuts with super high ISO sensitivity

The highlight of the Xperia XZ2 Premium is its 4K HDR display, which is the highest resolution screen ever put on a smartphone. That means 4K HDR video recording (still a relative novelty), 960FPS slow-motion video capture at 1080p, stereo speakers and a Dynamic Vibration System that promises more than the usual buzzes from haptic feedback. We haven't seen a follow-up to this model but we already saw the Sony Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact and got our hands-on feature. Let's discuss all this in this particular article.

Sony Xperia XZ2 went on-sale in the United Kingdom on April 6th 2018 for £699. The only difference is that there is now a dual camera setup on the back, something we missed on Xperia XZ2.

Unlike the £699 Xperia XZ2, the XZ2 Premium has a dual-camera set-up on the back of the phone - a first for Sony.

Flash flood watch issued for much of West Virginia
Heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms are drenching the Philadelphia region with no let up expected until later in the day. A flash flood warning has been issued for windward areas of the Big Island from Hilo to South Point until 10:15 a.m.

Sony has just unveiled its flagship smartphone for 2018. Certified IP65/IP68 [iii], XZ2 Premium is also created to withstand splashes and spills. Dimensions measure 158 x 80 x 11.9 mm and it weighs 236g. Just like the Xperia XZ2, there is no headphone jack on the XZ2 Premium.

The display isn't the only thing with the HDR tag on this phone; the XZ2 Premium joins the standard XZ2 in offering 4K HDR video recording as well. Powering the device is a Snapdragon 845 coupled with 6GB of RAM. The 3,450mAH battery of the Xperia XZ2 Premium seems more than enough to last a full day on normal use.

The next-generation Xperia smartphones sported an all-new design, 18:9 display with nearly no bezels on the side, support for wireless charging, and 4K HDR video recording - a first for a smartphone. Then there's the camera, which now consists of two eyes - a 19MP + 12MP dual camera setup, where the 19MP sensor collects colour data and the secondary sensor captures in monochrome. The lens is f/1.6, while the pixel size is 1.55μm.

Syria Must Declare All Chemical Weapons Stockpile to Continue Geneva Process
But France says it has conclusive proof that "chemical weapons were used and that they were used by Assad's regime". McKenzie says the missiles were fired after the "last impact" was over.

Branded Xperia XZ2 Premium, the new device keeps the same overall design as the XZ2, but upgrades the display, rear camera, battery, and a handful of other key specs.

On the front, there is a 13MP camera with f/2.0 aperture which is a big step up from 5MP front camera of the XZ2.

Both smartphones ship with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, and have the latest Qualcomm silicon - the Snapdragon 845 - inside. Like any Sony flagship smartphone, it also comes with IP68 dust and water resistance. The XZ2 Premium's speakers themselves use the same S-Force Front Surround system as the XZ2, with Hi-Res Audio, DSHEE HX, and LDAC support.

Canada PM to act on pipeline crisis in days to come -province
Hence why May 31 is also the deadline the company gave the government to restore investor confidence in the project. But the hit to the economy if the pipeline isn't built could also have devastating effects at the ballot box.

Sony does not have a price to quote but it says the Xperia XZ2 Premium will start selling this summer in Chrome Black and Chrome Silver options. It follows the Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact announced this past February. Tell us down in the comments.
