Twitter Down: Outages Hit US And UK

Social networking platform Twitter crashed on Tuesday evening, creating problem for its users. The micro-blogging website registered an outage around 7pm IST, with an increasing number of complaints from users.

Twitter users hoping to share their latest thought with the world are being confronted by a "something is technically wrong" page. "Thanks for noticing-we're going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon", the message came up when the users tried to open the website.

In the Down Detector website, which tracks services when they go offline, many users from Mumbai to NY were reporting outage.
