Police officials said on Sunday that approximately two dozen tourists, of which mostly were students from Faisalabad, stopped to take pictures on the bridge. 11 injured tourists have been moved to local hospital for medical treatment.

Local police official Saleem Durrani confirmed the toll and said that the authorities had posted a warning near the bridge, telling visitors to walk across it in small numbers because it was only created to accommodate five people at a time.
