LawBreakers Developer Boss Key Productions Closes its Doors

Famously forthright developer Cliff Bleszinski caused tongues to wag when he found BosS Key Productions, and announced Lawbreakers, his big comeback game.

Boss Key Productions reacted by creating its own take on the battle royale craze, Radical Heights. As such, the studio is shutting down.

Turns out that its very early access battle royale title Radical Heights, which only recently dropped, was in effect a last ditch effort to save the studio from closure.

Why Singapore for the Trump-Kim summit?
Kim revealed plans to shut down the nuclear test site during his summit with South Korean President Moon Jae-in last month. But he stressed that this would require a "robust verification" programme by the U.S. and other nations.

Cliff Bleszinski is known as the major public face of Epic Games for many years and the man behind Gears of War. Unfortunately, the game didn't take off and after trying to support it for nearly a year, last month Boss Key announced it would be moving on to other projects.

Calling Radical Heights a little too late, he explained despite hiring the best talent possible, it hasn't worked out.

Oil gains on OPEC report; U.S. crude discount to Brent deepens
The Brent crude price leapt to $US77.97 a barrel overnight before slipping 0.5 per cent in Friday afternoon trading to $US77.22. It was the busiest day in US front-month contracts since August, and for Brent the busiest in nearly a month.

Blezinski states that he's going to take some time off and reflect.

Radical Heights will apparently continue to operate for the time being, as the message says that servers "will remain up for the near future". Videogames will forever be part of who i am and i hope to make something new again someday, however, I need to withdraw and take this time.

The company's initial objective was the creation of a so-called "arena shooter", the project that eventually became "LawBreakers". Lawbreakers was shuttered, with Radical Heights becoming the hail mary pass that Boss Key made a decision to throw. Together, the duo led development on 2017's LawBreakers and launched Radical Heights just over a month ago.
