The feature is available only to those who are premium users and pay Dollars 40 per month for a YouTube TV streaming subscription. According to Android Police, they have been tipped off to a possible new feature in YouTube TV called "voice remote", which as the name suggests lets users control it using their voice.

This doesn't apply to YouTube TV on devices such as Roku or Android TV, but it will control content playing on your mobile device as well as casting content (you can even cast with a voice command).

YouTube for iOS has rolled out a new feature to remind viewers to "take a break" from the app, a feature highlighted by Google as their recent I/O developer conference, to balance technology in people's lives.

"Voice remote" has started to roll out to some YouTube TV users. Rather, it's just something that you'll eventually see in your app in the form of a floating action button. You don't need an app update, but you also can't access voice remote yet unless you are chosen by the Google. You should also get a popup in the app to tell you about the new feature when it becomes available to you.
