23 missing after boat carrying 40 capsizes in Andhra Pradesh's Godavari river

At least 17 people have been rescued in the boat tragedy in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh wherein the boat carrying at least 40 people capsized in river Godavari. Twenty boats, expert swimmers and NDRF teams have been pressed into service to trace the missing people. There were 20 people on the boat when it capsized and 10 of them including two women swam to safety.
