That's right, after months of whispers, think pieces and lowkey campaigning, Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons have been named finalists for a pair of most valuable player awards and could bring home some postseason hardware for the first time in nearly half a decade.

Houston star James Harden cooks up another incredible season, but Cleveland's LeBron James and New Orlean's Anthony Davis look poised to challenge his MVP bid.

Harden was the betting favorite to win the MVP in the final weeks of the season and has been a finalist for MVP in two out of the last three seasons.
