While Howie couldn't give Courtney a record deal, he did hit the golden buzzer meaning she will go straight to the live show rounds.

When Courtney Hadwin took the stage on Tuesday's "America's Got Talent", the judges didn't know what to make of the likeable yet incredibly shy young woman who stood before them.

At the end of her performance, she earned the Golden Buzzer by Howie Mandel.

The youngster appeared quite nervous when talking to the judges before her performance but came into her element when she started singing Otis Redding classic Hard to Handle.

In the audition, Courtney initially comes on stage and awkwardly answers judge Mel B's questions.

Then, Hadwin opened her mouth and showed off just how big a voice the small teen truly had, delivering a flamboyant and energetic rendition of the iconic tune that absolutely blew away everyone in the audience.

"Mr. Simon I had a dream about you", Sophie said.

And express herself she did.

"You are absolutely incredible".

The teen also appeared as part of the South Tyneside Festival summer concert line up in Bents Park in South Shields in July previous year where she entertained more than 18,000 people.
